David Evers studied Business Administration with a focus on Business Intelligence and Information Management at Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Since 2023, he has been working in the Service Management department at FIR at RWTH Aachen University and has led the Service Excellence research group since 2024. In his practice-oriented dissertation, he examines together with industry partners how manufacturing companies can transform from product suppliers into solution providers and how the sales of services, digital products, and subscription offerings can be designed successfully. He is particularly motivated by the strong potential of German industry to leverage solution selling to create new competitive advantages, inspire customers, and strengthen its global leadership.
